Who We Are

David Rice was in the pest control business for years. It was truly a family business as his two sons, Rick and Scott, were involved in the business from an early age and rode with technicians to learn the business from the bottom up. His wife Dorene helped him with paperwork nights and weekends while working a full time career of her own. Eventually, David wanted to entertain other ventures so he sold his business. A few years later his youngest son Scott decided he wanted to be in the pest control business. His brother Rick helped him build the business while enrolled full time in college. Unfortunately, Scott passed in 2001 and David and Rick took over for a few years. Dorene left her job and spent a few years in retirement until David passed away in 2009. This was the time that it became clear that they were needed in the family business and Dorene and Rick became the new co-owners. It was not the chosen path for either of them, but they love what they are doing and can not imagine doing anything else.

Frank started in the pest control business in June of 1996. He became certified in 1997 which is a testament to his knowledge of the pest control business. The company where he started was sold to another company in 2001 and Frank went to work for the new company but after 3 months knew that it was not where he should be. Scott had asked him to come to work for him and in September of 2001, Frank became an Inspector/Technician for Scott Rice Termite and Pest Control. Frank has become the senior employee for Rice’s Termite and Pest Control and is a huge asset and wealth of knowledge while keeping the company updated on the latest insect exterminator treatments.
